Baptism
We don’t believe that baptism gives you salvation. Rather, it is a symbol and representation of the commitment you’ve already made to follow Christ.
Christ instructs us to be baptized as a public profession of faith letting everyone know that you have said “yes” to Him.
Kids
At Orchard, we wait until our children are old enough to know and understand the decision to say “yes” to Jesus, as well as, the true meaning of baptism before we baptize them. Children must also have parent’s permission to be baptized.
