Over the course of 20 years, God took the faith and sacrifice of a small group of people and has done far more than we could ever IMAGINE—turning a gathering of a few in a tiny apartment into a growing movement of churches and missional work around the world.

A Note from Pastor Doug

For the past 20 years, Orchard.Church has experienced God doing far more than we could ever IMAGINE. What began in 2005 with a few faithful people in a tiny apartment has now grown into a thriving church community impacting thousands each week—locally and globally. With so many stories of lives changed, families restored, communities served, and people finding and following Jesus here and around the world—one thing is clear—God is moving.

And He’s not done yet!

Today we believe He is inviting us to take a bold new step of faith together. As we unite as one church family, through the IMAGINE INITIATIVE, we are launching a generosity campaign that unifies our giving to support every part of our mission, both locally and globally, to see more and more people find and follow Jesus. This is not just a building project. It’s a movement to create space for community connection, expand our impact and reach, and empower the next generation.

As we’ve been able to come together these past 20 years to build God’s Kingdom, both locally and globally, it’s time to IMAGINE what God will do next—as we step out in faith, live with extravagant generosity, and build a movement of churches that will help people find and follow Jesus.

Our Community Continues to Grow!

  • School District 27J is the fastest-growing district in the Denver-metro area

  • 27J has grown by 25% in the past 5 years

  • It’s expected to grow by another 40% by 2028

  • That’s 34,000 students enrolled by 2028 in 27J alone

  • Over 90% of our growing population claim no church affiliation

  • We estimate that there are over 100,000 unchurched people within our community

  • That’s a 100,000 people who need Jesus that matter to God and us

WHAT WE’RE BUILDING

(Literally & Spiritually)

Build a New Addition that includes:

A 350–400-seat multi-purpose auditorium to serve as venue for students, young adults, kids ministry, ministry events, memorial services, Night to Shine, and overflow on big Sundays.

Given the large Spanish-speaking population, this new venue will also provide a more permanent space for Iglesia Orchard to connect with the community and grow as a congregation.

A local coffee shop for community connection throughout the week. Proceeds from which will be directed back to Manna Worldwide to feed 15,000 children a day in 40 different countries, equalling over 2.9 million meals per year.

The largest indoor kids’ play area in our community, which will draw young families to a safe place where they can connect and build community.

Through the IMAGINE INITIATIVE, we will:

Orchard Ministry Institute (OMI)

Equip the next generation of pastors and church leaders through a residency and hands-on training experience.

Start New Locations

…in Colorado and work to establish a more permanent facility for Green Valley Ranch.

Expand Local & Global Impact

Launch new partnerships and tithe 10% of all IMAGINE INITIATIVE giving, providing an additional $500K in mission support.

Open a Training Center

To support, coach, and equip other church leaders in Colorado and beyond to help more people find and follow Jesus.

WHAT WILL IT TAKE?

With this God-sized vision and opportunity, it will take significant sacrifice and investment from the Orchard.Church family as we give of our time, talent, and treasure.

Construction of the new addition will cost approximately $3-4 million.

We are trusting God to increase our current giving by $4-6 million over the next two year.

Through the generosity of God’s people, Orchard can accomplish everything in the IMAGINE INITIATIVE & be debt-free.

Being debt-free would free $500K more a year towards the mission of being people helping people find and follow Jesus.

It will take everything within us, living with extravagant generosity on all fronts to impact The Kingdom both locally, nationally, and globally.

The ultimate goal is 100% participation in the IMAGINE INITITATIVE by those who consider Orchard their church home.

HOW WILL THIS IMPACT OUR FUTURE?

Our vision is to create a movement of Colorado churches that help the Unchurched find and follow Jesus. Through the IMAGINE INITIATIVE, we will be able to more effectively…

  • The new addition to our Brighton facility will help us connect with 100s of unchurched families, students, and young adults through the coffee shop and kids' play area–allowing us to be intentional in building relationships with them and invite them to attend an upcoming series or event.           

  • The additional funds given to the IMAGINE INITIATIVE will allow us to increase support for our local ministry partners, as well as consider taking on new mission partnerships. text goes here

  • We will continue to tithe off of everything given to the IMAGINE INITIATIVE, which could equate to an additional $500,000 to support our global partners and new opportunities. ext goes here

  • OMI will train and equip the next generation of church leaders through a robust residency program. Through a combination of theological teaching, hands-on ministry experience, and intentional leadership development, participants will gain the tools necessary to pursue a career of lifelong ministry impact.

  • One of our values is, “We are about building God’s Kingdom, not our kingdom.” We will invite other local, national, and international church leaders to join our association of churches with the goal of encouraging and training them to Help People Find and Follow Jesus. God has blessed Orchard tremendously, especially in the area of reaching the unchurched, and we believe we can help other churches do the same.
