Baptism
At Orchard, we believe baptism doesn’t save you. Rather, it’s an outward symbol of an inward decision to express a commitment you’ve already made to follow Jesus.
So much so, that when we say “Yes” to Jesus, He instructs us to follow His example and identify with Him publicly by being baptized. This mere act is not a religious ritual. Rather, it’s a celebration of the forgiveness and new life we have in Him.

At Orchard, we baptize children once they are old enough to understand what it means for them to say “Yes” to Jesus, as well as, how baptism is a expression of that decision. Children must also have parent’s permission to be baptized.
