Know & Connect with each other
On a scale of 1-10, how are you doing right now?
Let’s Discuss the Message-
WE DON’T HEAL IN ISOLATION. WE HEAL IN COMMUNITY.
1. IN COMMUNITY WITH OTHERS.
2 CORINTHIANS 1:8 We think you ought to know, dear brothers and sisters, about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia. We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it.
2. IN COMMUNITY WITH GOD
PSALM 34:18 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;
he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
3. IN COMMUNITY WITH A PURPOSE.
2 CORINTHIANS 1:3-4 All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. 4 He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
Start Sharing
Which part of this message was most impactful for you and why?
We start healing from trauma when we share our stories with other people. To Whom do you usually go to share your story when you’ve experienced a traumatic event?
We ultimately heal from trauma when our experiences are used to help others. Share a story about how God has used your story to encourage another person toward healing.
RESOURCES
Throughout the Faith in the Fog series, we will be sharing some additional resources about mental health. If at any time you or someone in your group would like more support with mental health, we have a Care Team available to help.

One of our Values at Orchard is
We are about building His Kingdom, not our kingdom.
Focusing on Mental Health and allowing God to use our stories of healing is one of the ways that we can focus on building His kingdom. When we share our stories, and how God has healed us through our trauma, we are part of helping other people find and follow Him. Keep relying on God and your Small Group and pray together that we will all see God’s purpose through our stories.
