ORCHARD: State of the Church Meeting – Aug.30th @ 6pm
Dear Orchard Member,
As a member of Orchard, you play a vital role in helping shape the future of our church. For that reason, we want to personally invite you to our Annual State of the Church Meeting on Sunday, August 30th, at 6:00 PM in the Multipurpose Room.
You may remember that we've traditionally held this meeting in February. Beginning this year, however, we're moving to a September–August fiscal year, which better aligns our ministry and financial planning. As a result, our Annual State of the Church Meeting will now take place each August.
This year's gathering will be one of the most significant we've had in many years.
We'll celebrate God's faithfulness by reviewing the spiritual and financial results from this past year, present and ratify our new ministry budget, and cast vision for what lies ahead. Most importantly, our members will be asked to vote on approving the budget for the construction of our new addition as part of the Imagine Initiative—a milestone that will expand our capacity to reach more people and help them find and follow Jesus for years to come.
We'll also provide important updates on:
The timeline for the new addition
The sale of a portion of our property
Our Lead Pastor succession plan and the progress we've made
God has been so faithful to Orchard over the past twenty-one years. Every step of growth has been possible because of people like you who have faithfully prayed, served, given, and led. As we step into this next season together, your participation continues to matter.
Please make every effort to join us on Sunday, August 30th, at 6:00 PM. We believe you'll leave encouraged by all God has done and excited about where He is leading Orchard next.
Thank you for your faithful commitment to our church. Tyler and I are grateful to serve alongside you. We look forward to seeing you on August 30th.
God Bless,
Pastors Doug and Tyler
PS. Please enter through the Volunteer Entrance at the back of the church on the night of the meeting to gain entry into the building.
